Black River Falls Chamber of Commerce Designated as Dementia Friendly Business

The Black River Falls Chamber of Commerce has now been designated as a dementia friendly business.

As the number of individuals living with dementia grows, it’s crucial for communities to step up. That’s why the Chamber is joining the statewide initiative by DHS to make Wisconsin dementia friendly, which means building infrastructure to support those with dementia and their caregivers.

People with dementia want to stay engaged in their communities and, with proper support, they can. The Black River Falls Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to be part of this movement in Jackson County. Businesses can get involved too.

Training is quick, free, and tailored to your needs. The Chamber thanks Darby Rush and Amber Ducklow from Jackson County DHHS for providing the training.
