Marshfield Woman Arrested for Fleeing an Officer

A Marshfield woman was arrested for fleeing an officer.
According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, on March 30th, around 10:36am, a 45-year-old Marshfield female was arrested for felony fleeing an officer after she failed to stop when an officer initiated a traffic stop on Mann Road in Marshfield.
The pursuit lasted approximately 4.3 miles and approximately 6 minutes. After she was taken into custody, K9 Rika alerted to the presence of a restricted controlled substance coming from within the vehicle.
Methamphetamine was later found in the vehicle. She was transported to the Marathon County Jail. A request for charges will be sent to the Marathon County DA's office for Felony Fleeing, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Felony Bail Jumping.
