Faith Lutheran Church To Celebrate 70 Years

Faith Lutheran Church, a cornerstone of the Marshfield community, is excited to announce its 70th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, April 7th. This milestone event promises to be a day of reflection, gratitude, and joyful anticipation for the future.

The celebration will kick off with a special “Festival” Worship Service at 9:00 am, held at Faith Lutheran Church located at 207 S. Cherry Ave. The service will feature distinguished guest preacher, Bishop Laurie Skow-Anderson, who will deliver an inspiring message. Musical selections performed by FLC’s Adult Choir, a talented cello soloist, and other vocalists will enrich our worship experience. Additionally, in a touching tribute to the church's history, 16 charter members from its founding in 1954 will be recognized during the service.

Former pastors, who have played pivotal roles in shaping the congregation over the years, will also participate in the worship service.   Following the worship service, all are invited to indulge in a delicious “Pancake Extravaganza” in the FLC Fellowship Hall. Hosted by Faith Lutheran Youth, this event will serve as an opportunity for fellowship and community bonding. A freewill offering will be collected to support the youth's upcoming mission trip.   All members of the Marshfield community and beyond are warmly welcomed to join Faith Lutheran Church in celebrating this significant milestone.
