BODY OF CLARK CO. FISHERMAN RECOVERED

Tuesday, May 6th, 2008 -- 10:08 AM

The Marathon County medical examiner says the body found in the Wisconsin River over the weekend near Mosinee is that of a missing 17-year-old Clark County teen who was fishing when his boat capsized.

Dylan Decaire, Dorchester, was found by family members searching the river on Sunday, according to Medical Examiner John Larson.

Larson does not plan an autopsy, saying the death was obviously an accidental drowning.

Lenard Pond, 40, of Owen, also drowned in the April 6 boating accident.

A third fisherman, 16-year-old Brier Bergerson, survived after he was rescued by other fisherman. Witnesses said Pond and Decaire never resurfaced.
