Augusta Sophomore Competes in National Western Stock Show in Denver

In early January, Augusta sophomore Lindsey Strauch had the incredible opportunity to participate in the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colorado.
This was her third year showcasing South Devons at this event. The highlight of her experience was undoubtedly the success of her Poundmaker heifer, named Princess, who won Grand Champion Junior Poundmaker Heifer.
The National Western Stock Show is considered the "super bowl" of livestock shows. It serves as a captivating event for livestock industry enthusiasts from across the nation.
In addition to the competition, this show offers a unique opportunity for producers to engage in meaningful exchanges, sharing insights and experiences while showcasing the best of their operations. It's a time of inspiration, and celebration of the agricultural world.
Lindsey's participation in Denver was not only about exhibiting cattle, but also about fostering connections, promoting her passion for South Devons, and contributing to the livestock industry!
