Tomah Students Perform Well at Mississippi Valley Gifted and Talented Regional Spelling Bee

The Mississippi Valley Gifted and Talented Regional Spelling Bee competition was held March 19th in Westby.

Tomah was represented by six Middle School students and one LaGrange Elementary student, who won our District Spelling Bee on March 7th: Addie Garrels, Sophia Tackmann, Ruby Craig, Ben Boyles, Clara Gouty, Rachel Zastoupil, Dylan Cram (and alternate Molly White)

Four of those students made it to the top six. Congratulations Clara, Sophia, Addie, and Ruby. Two TMS students were in the top three and brought home a trophy. 2nd Place Winner: Clara who went a total of 21 rounds. 3rd Place Winner: Sophia who went a total of 17 rounds.
