Neillsville School Board Approves Building Updates, New Passenger Van, and More

The Neillsville School Board heard a building projects update at their meeting on Monday.
The Board also approved the bid from Complete Control in the amount of $38,505 for middle school air handler damper replacement as presented. The Board also approved the bid from Complete Control in the amount of $8,395 for the pool exhaust fan replacement as presented.
The Board also approved the Early College Credit and Start College Now program applications as presented, approved the Neola policy contract as presented, and approved the 2024-2025 transportation contract with Granton Area School District as presented.
The Board also approved the purchase of a passenger vehicle in the amount of $57,000 as presented and approved an early graduation request from a student as presented.
The Board also approved the donation of water and snacks from Natalie Guzman as presented, approved the donation of cheese from Nasonville Dairy as presented, and approved the donation of cheese and sausage from Lynn Dairy as presented.
They also approved the donation of water for the chorus Florida trip from River Country Co-Op as presented and approved the monetary donation from the Booster Club in the amount of $10,000 for the new football and softball scoreboards as presented.
In employment matters, the Board approved the resignation of Scott Swita from his teaching position as presented. The Board also approved, as presented, the hiring of Amy Veltus for the Food Service Assistant position and Kim Rakovec for the cheerleading advisor position.
The Board also approved the 2024-2025 support staff wage scale as presented, approved the 2024-2025 certified staff wage scales as presented, and approved the Memorandum of Understanding for Melissa Strangfeld as presented.
The Board also heard the Administrators’ Reports. Elementary Principal Marcy Kunze’s report was presented on:
