New Programming at Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library

Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 -- 8:01 AM

Regular patrons of the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library may have noticed there have been some changes to Library programming this year.

The library’s goal for this year was to shift to offering more inclusive, family friendly, all-ages programming. These types of programs allow them to offer options to as many patrons as possible.

The success of the Tuesdays at the Library programs has shown that there is an audience for this type of programming. By offering a varied slate of programs that include crafts, game nights, musical performances, movie nights, and more, they are trying to make sure there is a little something for everyone.

Of course, they are always happy to hear your suggestions as well. One suggestion they hear often is that there is a need for more family programs on weekends. Having heard this, the Library will be offering at least one weekend program each month.

In February, they had the Sweetheart Dance. In March, they offered Puzzle-Palooza. On Saturday April 6th, they’ll be hosting the Scrabble Scramble game day. And they have many more programs in the works for the rest of the year.

Whether you are joining them for a Tuesday night, a Saturday, a Friday morning storytime, an after-school teen program, or any of our recurring programs like Garden Guru and Spoken History, or checking out their virtual author talks, the library’s goal is to have programs that interest a wide variety of patrons.

They host between 20 and 30 programs each month. You can always check out upcoming programs on their Facebook page and website or by stopping by any service desk to pick up a monthly calendar. There is always something to do at the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library.
