Man and Woman Led Authorities on High Speed Chase in Jackson and Trempealeau Counties

(Heather Knox, WEAU) A man and a woman led authorities on a vehicle chase when a deputy tried to find the man who had a warrant out for his arrest, according to Heather Know with WEAU.
According to a news release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, on March 15 at about 11:56 a.m., a deputy tried to make contact with 40-year-old Troy Hanson of Mindoro, Wis., at a residence in North Bend, Wis.
When the deputy made contact with Ashlyn Hanson at the home, the two fled in a vehicle. The vehicle was found in Trempealeau County and pursued back to Jackson County.
It was disabled with a tire deflation device and a PIT maneuver. Once the chase ended, Ashlyn Hanson held Troy Hanson with an edged weapon before they both surrendered.
Ashlyn Hanson was booked into Jackson County jail on recommended charges of recklessly endangering safety, harboring/aiding a felon and obstructing an officer.
Troy Hanson was booked into Jackson County jail under his felony warrant and recommended charges of fleeing an officer, bail jumping, recklessly endangering safety and obstructing an officer.
