Granton Middle/High School Students Hold Penny War

The Granton High School/Middle School Student Council held a penny war March 4th-8th.

Pennies counted for positive points, while nickles, dimes, and quarters were negative points. The winning class could choose a teacher and classmate to pie in the face for Pi Day, March 14. There was great student involvement and great competition.

7th grade came in 1st place and voted to pie Mr. Johansen and fellow classmate Liberty. $273.43 was raised and will be donated to Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Thanks to everyone who contributed their change.
