Marshfield School District Mentioned in USDA’s Midwest At the Table Newsletter

Marshfield School District was mentioned in the February 2024 Edition of the USDA's Midwest At the Table Newsletter regarding the Local Food for Schools Program in WI.

The Program helps schools access local, unprocessed, and minimally processed foods from local farmers and producers. A local farmer gave a presentation about red radishes to second grade students at Grant Elementary.

Students then had the opportunity to eat roasted red radishes prepared by the District’s food service staff.
