Neillsville Fire Department Responds to Garage/House Fire in the City of Neillsville

The Neillsville Fire Department responded to a garage fire in the City of Neillsville Tuesday afternoon.

According to Neillsville Fire Chief Matt Meyer, they recevied a report of a garage fire at 603 Willow Street in the City of Neillsville around 5:26pm on Tuesday. When they arrived, the garage was fully engulfed and the fire was starting to spread into the home. There was heavy smoke coming from the home. The cause of the fire is not known at this time and is under investigation.

The Department had no injuries on their part and they were on scene for four hours. The had assistance from the Granton Fire Department, (with full response) the Clark County Sheriff's Department, the Neillsville Police Department, and the Neillsville Ambulance Service was on standby.
