Marshfield Police Department Responds to One Vehicle Accident that Struck a Home

The Marshfield Police Department responded to a one vehicle accident that resulted in a vehicle striking a home.

According to a report from the Department, on Sunday, March 10th, at 11:09am, an officer responded to the accident and spoke with a witness who stated he noticed a vehicle traveling west bound on East 17th Street approaching South Maple Ave.

The witness stated the vehicle drove through the intersection without stopping at the stop sign and, after driving through the intersection, it traveled across the front yard of 1700 South Maple and hit the north east corner of the home.

The driver of the vehicle was transported by ambulance from the scene. After an investigation, the driver of the vehicle was charged with operating while intoxicated.
