Wautoma Woman Arrested After Traffic Stop in Marshfield

A Wautoma woman was arrested after a traffic stop in the City of Marshfield.

According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, on Monday, March 11th, around 1:41pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop at South Cedar Avenue and East 8th Street. An officer and K-9 Officer Rika were requested to the scene and a free air sniff of the vehicle was conducted. K-9 Rika alerted to the odor of a controlled substance from within the vehicle.

As a result, a 29-year-old Wautoma female was placed under arrest. A request for charges for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of THC & Possession of a Schedule III drug is being forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney's Office.
