Jackson County Man Enters Plea for Burning a Dead Man's Body to Hide Evidence

(Kristen Shill, WQOW) A plea deal was reached with a Jackson County man accused of burning a dead man's body to hide evidence of his murder.
According to Kristen Shill with WQOW, Jeffrey Myers-Woychik was charged with hiding a corpse following the death of Richard Lee Bork. Bork's wife and Jeffrey's mother, Star Myers, is charged with first degree intentional homicide.
According to the criminal complaint, Star shot her husband in the head and then asked Jeffrey and others to help her get rid of the body. It happened last March in the town of Manchester.
Friday in court, Myers-Woychik was sentenced to one and a half years in prison, followed by five years of extended supervision, as part of a plea deal. He was given credit for 364 days in prison he's already served. When he is released he must maintain his sobriety and submit to random drug testing.
