Owen Man Charged with Sexual Assault of a Child Appears in Clark County Court

An Owen man charged with repeated sexual assault of a child appeared in Clark County Court on Thursday.

Joseph Pierce is accused of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl. The girl said Pierce told her not to tell anyone. Pierce was already convicted of sexually assaulting a child in Waupaca County back in 1991.

During his arraignment on Thursday, Pierce entered a not guilty plea to the charge against him. He is scheduled to be back in court on June 26th.  He’s currently in the Clark County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond.
