SHAMBEAU LANDS NEW JOB

Former Clark County Planning and Zoning Administrator Jay Shambeau has a new job.The Calumet County Board unanimously appointed Shambeau to the position of County Administrator at a meeting last week.
Shambeau has served as village administrator in Kewaskum since leaving Clark County in 2006.
He had been a lightning rod for criticism over a proposed comprehensive plan here. That plan ultimately failed to win approval of the full Clark County Board.
Calumet County is located just east of Lake Winnebago. Chilton is its county seat.
Shambeau's starting salary will be $100,000; he earned $64,000 during his final year in Clark County.
