Milwaukee Man Pulled Over Near Osseo for Operating Under a Controlled Substance

A Milwaukee man was pulled over near Osseo for allegedly operating under a controlled substance with a child in the vehicle.

Around 2:41pm on Tuesday, February 27th, the Wisconsin State Patrol pulled over 27-year-old Devontae McFarland for speeding on I-94. McFarland had a three-year-old in the front seat of the vehicle without a car seat. Troopers also noticed evidence of a controlled substance in the vehicle.

McFarland told the trooper he had smoked marijuana about an hour before driving. McFarland was arrested and facing charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, first offense, with a child in the vehicle.
