Dr. David Jones with Marshfield Medical Center-Neillsville Honored With Shining Star

Congrats to Dr. David Jones, emergency medicine physician at Marshfield Medical Center-Neillsville, who was recently honored with his first Shining Star for making a positive impact when caring for a patient.

The patient had this to say in their nomination: “Over the weekend on Saturday night, we had to take our 2-year-old in after a freak accident on a bounce house where she popped her elbow out of place."

"Dr. Jones knew right away what it probably was but wanted to get x-rays just in case something was broken. After confirming nothing was broken, he was able to pop her elbow back in place in a matter of seconds and she was instantly able to bend her arm and move it around."

"His bedside manner was fantastic, we had seen him previously one other time for another issue in the ER as well and I remembered him from that time for his quality of care."

"We were so grateful that he was able to help our little gift so quickly and made sure to follow up the next morning and make sure she was doing okay even though it was a Sunday morning. Thank you again for your expertise and help during such a scary time. It was a great experience at the Neillsville ER.”
