One Person Dead In Township Of Sherry Accident

On Friday evening the Wood County Dispatch Center received a call of a one vehicle crash on Hwy N in the Township of Sherry. 

Wood County Deputies and First Responders arrived on scene and located the vehicle and a male occupant. The initial crash investigation indicates the vehicle was traveling west on Hwy N and failed to negotiate a curve which caused the vehicle to hit an electrical pole and come to a stop. The male operator was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Wood County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the scene by Marshfield Ambulance Service, Wood County Coroner, Sherry First Responders and Nieman's Tow Service.
