Hixton Fire and Rescue Responds to Semi Trailer Fire on Monday

The Hixton Fire and Rescue Department responded to a semi trailer fire on Monday.

According to the Department, they were paged to I-94, mile post 97 eastbound, for a semi trailer fire. The semi was hauling malt beverages. Trailer brakes are believed to be the cause of the fire. 16 Hixton Firefighters responded and assisted and no injuries were reported.
