LOYAL LONG-RANGE SURVEY
Thursday, April 10th, 2008 -- 11:59 AM
The Loyal School Board hopes to get some direction from the district.Next week, the board will be going over the responses to their Long Range Planning survey?
"The idea was to get a lot of input," explains Superintendent Graeme Williams, "What things they liked about Loyal schools, what things they'd like changed to make it better. It was a wide range of information they wanted to gather."
The questionnaires were available through the district newsletter and at school.
While the results won't be released until next week, Williams says over 300 surveys were returned.
"The committee and board members have looked at all the surveys and compiled the results," Williams says.
Williams is hopeful the survey will focus on "long range" issues.
"I'm hoping we get information on what we should be doing over the next five years, whether it refers to a referendum or more consolidation talks. That's what I'm hoping to get out of this."
The Board meets Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
