Neillsville Woman Sentenced for Battery

A Neillsville woman was sentenced for a charge of battery and others in Clark County Court on Friday.

According to the criminal complaint, back in February of 2022, a man stated that his girlfriend, Farron Dignin, kicked him out of a truck and he fell and broke his leg.

Dignin then drove off, leaving him in the freezing weather. Dignin stated they were arguing and the man spit on her. She told him to get out of the vehicle. She also claimed that she called someone to come and get the man.

During her court appearance back in November, she was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, battery with domestic abuse modifiers, disorderly conduct, and a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

A couple other charges were dismissed and read in. She was sentenced to 9 months in jail with a withheld sentence of 3 years of probation.
