Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry Looking for Help with Dairy Fest Committee

Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry recognizes and supports Wisconsin’s strong Agricultural Industry.

Marshfield and the surrounding area contribute greatly to this success. Wis. agriculture contributes $104.8 Billion annually to our state’s economy. The dairy industry contributes $45.6 Billion to Wisconsin’s economy each year. The state’s nearly 12,000 licensed cheesemakers produce over 600 types, styles & varieties of cheese.

Annually 435,700 jobs or 11.8% of the state’s employment is in agriculture. From farms and growing crops, food processing and production, equipment manufacturers, to offering a wide variety of careers, our economy is greatly impacted by Agriculture.

MACCI’s Agri-Business Committee, as well as Dairyfest, one of the community’s largest events, strive to promote and celebrate the importance of this industry.
