City of Marshfield Looking for Two Residents to Serve on Committee on Aging; Letters of Interest Due this Thursday

City of Marshfield Mayor Lois TeStrake encourages city residents to step up to the plate and volunteer to serve on the Committee on Aging.
The City currently has two open positions to fill. The two individuals who are chosen by Mayor TeStrake and appointed by the Common Council will be part of a six-person committee along with a member of the Common Council.
This committee provides the Common Council with overall aging issues within the city, including seniors' programs and proposed usage of municipal senior facilities, and encourages community seniors to become more involved in aging issues.
They examine the need for future community services and programs for older adults and assist in the development of such services and programs as established to be necessary and desirable for the citizenry of Marshfield.
Please submit a letter to the Office of the Mayor, located in City Hall, 207 W. 6th St., Marshfield, WI. 54449, stating your qualifications and reasons for wanting to serve. This letter must be received by Thursday, February 8, 2024.
