Some Marshfield teens were arrested after a traffic stop in Marshfield.
According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, around 1:15am on Sunday, January 28th, a traffic stop was conducted in the 100 block of W. 3rd St. During the investigation multiple juveniles were found to be under the influence of THC and alcohol.
A small bottle of alcohol was visible in plain view within the vehicle and the 16-year-old Marshfield male driver with no license issued was found to be in possession of a THC cart and a Nicotine vape cart which he provided to officers. He also admitted to officers that he had smoked THC prior to driving the vehicle.
A 17-year-old Marshfield female refused to exit the vehicle for a vehicle search. An officer attempted to escort her from the vehicle; however, she became physically resistive and was then physically removed from the vehicle.
She was placed into handcuffs as she continued to be physically combative. A vehicle search resulted in multiple items of drug paraphernalia, alcohol, THC plant material, THC wax and nicotine being recovered from within the vehicle.
