Marshfield Clinic Health System Releases Statement Regarding Closure of HSHS and Prevea in Chippewa Valley

Marshfield Clinic Health System has released a statement following the closing of HSHS and Prevea in the Eau Claire area and Chippewa Valley.

“Our Eau Claire hospital remains busy, but Marshfield Clinic Health System is committed to providing care for patients in western Wisconsin. We’re a part of this community, and we’re doing what we can do to continue to care for those who need us."

"This includes patients affected by the HSHS/Prevea news. We understand that tough decisions need to be made in today’s environment. That’s why we are using our staffing resources as efficiently and effectively as possible to make sure they are where it’s needed most and can have the greatest impact on patients.”
