Neillsville Band and Choir Students Participate in Cloverbelt All-Conference Band and Choir Event

Neillsville High School music students had the amazing opportunity to participate in the Cloverbelt All-Conference Band and Choir Festival on Saturday, January 20th.

The top music students from the conference were chosen to participate in this event which was held at Chippewa Falls McDonnell High School this year. Band students were under the direction of Dr. Richard Heidel, Director of Bands and Professor of Music in the School of Music at the University of Iowa.

Choir students were honored to work with Dr. Christopher McGinley, Associate Director of Choral Activities at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. After a day of rehearsals, the Band and Choir performed in a concert for the public.

Band Students included Sydney Magnuson (Alto Saxophone), Mark Jorgensen (Percussion), Katelynn Vine (Alto Saxophone), Ryan Kuester (Baritone Saxophone), and Macey Dickinson (Flute).

Choir Students included (Wesley Swita (Bass), Kenadi Urban (Alto), Jada Gurney (Alto), Karli Gross (Soprano), Andrew Hoeser (Bass), Zion Jones (Bass), Gracie Schoengarth (Alto), Mireya Ziebell (Soprano), Jackson Hemp (Tenor), and Olivia Koprek (Soprano).
