Marathon County Sheriff’s Department Promotes Deputy to Patrol Lieutenant

Marathon County Sheriff’s Deputy Nick Marcell was promoted to the rank of Patrol Lieutenant.
Lieutenant Marcell began his career with the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office on March 19, 2012, as a Reserve Deputy and assumed a full time Deputy position on July 16, 2012. During his time with the Sheriff’s Office, Lieutenant Marcell has been very active, participating in a number of roles. Lieutenant Marcell is a Unified Tactics instructor, Field Training Officer, SWAT Team operator and is a member of the Sheriff’s Honor Guard.
In addition to his duties at the Sheriff’s Office, Lieutenant Marcell works as an Adjunct Instructor at Northcentral Technical College. The combination of Nick’s leadership, hard work, strong communication skills, knowledge of the job, years of experience and training more than qualify him to serve in this capacity.
