Missing Black River Falls Woman Found Dead Near Black River Dam

A Black River Falls woman reported missing back on Thanksgiving has been found dead.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, on Tuesday, an employee of Black River Falls Municipal Utilities called to report they had found a deceased person in the water near the Black River Falls Dam.

The Sheriff’s Department responded and they confirmed that the individual was 53-year-old Stacy Shramek. Shramek was reported missing on November 23rd of last year. The sheriff’s office says no further information will be released at this time.
