Marshfield Fire and EMS Statistics for December 2023

The Marshfield Fire Department and EMS provided some statistics on calls for December of 2023.

For December, the Marshfield Fire Department had 41 fire responses. Their busiest days included 19 calls on December 18th; 16 calls on December 13th, 26th, 28th, and 31st; and 15 calls on December 27th.

The calls consisted of 19 EMS assists, 3 hazardous conditions, 3 service calls, 8 good intent, 4 false alarms, 1 special incident type, 2 fire, and 1 over pressure. They also completed 127 fire inspections.

For EMS, Marshfield saw 324 responses (ambulances responded for medical call) and 340 calls for service, averaging 11 calls per day. They also completed 187.5 hours of training. Of all the December calls, 259 calls involved one ambulance out; 55 calls had two ambulances out; and 10 had three ambulances out.
