Chester is the Pets of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Names: Chester

Age: 5 1/2-years-old

Breeds: Short-haired, brown tabby

Chester is the Pet of the Week this week! Chester is a super nice kitty who loves to spend time with people. He's a lap cat, and enjoys lots of snuggling. He is about 5 1/2 years old and weighs 7.6#. He has a handsome short-haired coat that's Brown Tabby with lots of White.

The only thing that Chester requests is that he be the only kitty in his new home. He has lived with another cat previously, and he didn't play very fair. So, it will be best if he doesn't have other cats around. But he does great with people, including children.

If you have just the right spot for a nice cat like Chester, please think about adopting him today! You can submit your adoption application for Chester on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have lots of animals at CCHS right now, with an especially amazing selection of dogs and puppies, so be sure to check them out. You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out. We are very much in need of volunteers!

You can learn more and sign up on our website:  https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected].  Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Chester, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
