According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, while still slightly below November 2022 levels, this modest increase offers a glimmer of hope in a national environment of declining milk output. Here's a closer look at the numbers, Wisconsin:
- Milk production: 2.58 billion pounds (up from October, down slightly from November 2022);
- Milk cows: 1.27 million head (flat compared to October, down slightly from November 2022);
- Production per cow: 2,035 pounds (up slightly from November 2022).

- Milk production: 17.3 billion pounds (down 0.5% from November 2022);
- Production per cow: 1,948 pounds (down 3 pounds from November 2022);

- Production per cow: 1,932 pounds (down 2 pounds from November 2022);
