Marshfield Woman Arrested After Threatening Social Workers

A Marshfield woman was arrested after threatening two social workers.

According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, they received a report that Wood County Social workers were on a phone call with a 39-year-old Marshfield female. The woman made threatening comments towards them that made them fear for their immediate safety. Contact was made with the woman who was ultimately arrested.

The woman was transported to MMC for medical clearance and eventually the Wood County Jail. Charges of Battery or Threats to LEO/Officer of the Court/Judge, Bail Jumping, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct will be requested through Wood County District Attorney's Office.
