Marathon County Sheriff Promotes Zamzow to Lieutenant

The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce the promotion of Corporal Lorraine Zamzow to the rank of Lieutenant effective January 7th.

This happens to be almost to the day, Lorraine's nine-year anniversary with the Sheriff’s Office. Lorraine began her career with the Sheriff’s Office as a Corrections Officer on January 5th of 2015.

Through her hard work, steady demeanor and demonstrated leadership, Lorraine was promoted to the rank of Corporal on October 17th of 2021. In her role as a Corporal, Lorraine continued to demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to the office.

Lorriane has been a part of a number of assignments within the jail and will bring that knowledge and skill with her as she transitions into her leadership role. Now, what you can't miss is Lorraine's infectious smile, outgoing personality and her positive, can-do attitude.

The Department is excited for Lorraine to bring all of that enthusiasm, energy and professionalism in this new role.
