Names: Moxxi and Knotty
Age: 6-Years-Old (Moxxi) and 5-Years-Old (Knotty)
Breeds: Pit Bulls
We have a very special pair as Pet of the Week this week! Moxxi and Knotty are a mother and son duo who would like to be adopted together.
They had been adopted a couple of years ago, but then the family's landlord changed the rules and they couldn't stay in their home.
So, back to CCHS they came! Moxxi is almost 6 years old and weighs 65#, while Knotty is almost 5 years old and weighs 72#. They are truly bonded and really need each other. They love to go for walks together, and Knotty is a bit more playful than his mom.
They have beautiful silvery gray short-haired coats with white trim. They get along great with people and children, but don't much care for cats. They were happy to tell Santa and Mrs. Claus that they are really wishing for a new family for Christmas!
You can submit your adoption application for this wonderful pair on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/ applying-to-adopt. We have lots of animals at CCHS right now, with an especially amazing selection of dogs and puppies, so be sure to check them out. You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!
This is the time of the year that we start to reflect on the year gone by. 2023 was certainly a busy year! Lots of animals came through CCHS' doors and even more came through our FixaPet Program. We are so very grateful to have been able to help so many in need.
We are also so very appreciative of the support and help we've received. From our staff and volunteers to our members and supporters, we could never do it without you. We wish you all the very best this Holiday Season and hope that you share special days filled with many blessings! Merry Christmas!
You can learn more about, and adopt, Moxxi and Knotty, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
