Record Breaking Holiday Travel Period Expected

A record breaking travel period is expected this holiday season. 

AAA estimates 2.3 million Wisconsinites will travel 50 miles or more during the upcoming holiday travel period spanning from December 23rd to January 1st.   That's the second highest number on record. 

For those traveling by car, Wisconsin is currently seeing the cheapest gas prices since the pandemic.   The statewide average is at 2.75 a gallon.  That’s lower than the national average of about $3.10.
