Gil is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Gil

Age: 3-Months-Old

Breed: Red Heeler

Gil is the CCHS Pet of the Week! Gil is a handsome boy! He is a Red Heeler about 3 months old. He's got the typical Heeler short-haired red and white coat with lots of spots and speckles. He came to CCHS from a local farm where there were just too many puppies.

He's got 7 siblings, all named after characters from the "Frasier" TV show. Gil weighs 23# and is still growing. Being a Heeler, Gil is a smart and friendly boy. He likes being around people and he's always ready for pets and to give you a good tail wag.

He's ready to start training and learning all about how to be a good dog when he grows up. If you'd like to bring Gil Home for the Holidays, please apply to adopt him today. You can submit your adoption application for Gil on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have lots of animals at CCHS right now, with an especially amazing selection of dogs and puppies, so be sure to check them out. You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.

We are very much in need of volunteers! You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Gil, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
