Several Businesses Could be Coming to Rib Mountain

(Chris Conley, WSAU) Several businesses could be coming to Rib Mountain.

According to Chris Conley with WSAU, on Wednesday, December 13th, the Rib Mountain Plan Commission will be reviewing a rezoning application that would bring Chipotle and Chick-fil-A to the area.

If the application is approved on Wednesday the application would then move forward to the entire village board in December. While community members have been patiently waiting for a new fast-food chain to come to the area, they’ll have to wait a little bit longer.

“I don’t want to say years away but I mean if it goes through the processes and such here as it’s required,” Jared Grande, Community Development Director, Village of Rib Mountain said.

“On the developer’s timeline they could be looking at the spring of 24 or summer of 24 on at least one of the buildings of the tenants.” Woodman’s food market is also on the agenda for Wednesday. They have a pre-application before the commission. Their proposed location is behind the Goodwill store.
