Stanley Police Department Welcomes New Officer

The Stanley Police Department is delighted to welcome the newest member of the Department, Officer Cody Vircks.

Officer Vircks was officially sworn in as a full-time police officer. Officer Vircks was born and raised in the greater Chippewa Valley and recently graduated the law enforcement academy at Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire.

Officer Vircks will be spending the next several weeks in field training, ultimately preparing him for his responsibilities as a law enforcement officer within the department. Once he completes his training, he will be assigned as the primary officer in the Village of Boyd as part of the contracted services agreement that is in place between Stanley and Boyd.

Officer Vircks will get plenty of work in Stanley too and they are grateful for his commitment to a career in law enforcement. They are thankful to have Officer Vircks as a member of the team and look forward to his many contributions as a police officer within the Stanley-Boyd communities.
