Clark County Public Health Specialist/Health Educator Discusses Delta 8 and 9 THC

With the passing of the 2018 Farm Bill, it opened up new opportunities for those interested in farming hemp plants.

However, that also inadvertently opened the door for certain retailers to sell Delta 8 and 9 THC products. While this is legal, it also provides opportunity for children/teens to get their hands on this product as it is completely legal for retailers to sell this product to anyone, although, it should be noted, that most do not.

I spoke with Rebecca Greisen, the Public Health Specialist/Health Educator at the Clark County Health Department, and she explained the Delta 8 and 9 product in more detail, how it’s legal, how to keep it out of the hands of children, and more.
