Two Marshfield Men Arrested for Possession in Two Separate Incidents on Wednesday

Two Marshfield men were arrested in two separate incidents on Wednesday for possession.
First, around 10:01am, the Marshfield Police Department reported finding methamphetamine at a residence on N. Sawyer Drive. An Act 79 search was conducted and a 41-year-old Marshfield male was taken into custody and transported to the Wood County Jail. Charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia will be forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney's Office.
Then, around 10:37am, a traffic stop was conducted at North Oak Avenue and West Cleveland Street. Officer Fox and K-9 Rika were requested to the scene. K-9 Rika alerted to the odor of a controlled substance after a free air sniff was conducted.
As a result, a 36-year-old Marshfield male was taken into custody. A request for charges for possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of drug paraphernalia and OWI 3rd is being forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney's Office.
