CHANGES MADE TO PROPOSED COUNTY SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE
Monday, March 3rd, 2008 -- 11:51 AM
The Clark County Board is expected to get a glimpse of a reworked Subdivision ordinance this month.According to committee minutes, Planning and Zoning Administrator Steve Kunze has been discussing the revisions with Town leaders and the committee has made some adjustments.
The most commonly received comments concerned conflicting lot size requirements, road standards and lot sizes requiring a survey.
The committee adjusted the ordinance last week to add language to allow a 40-acre split by using halves, a requirement for town approval before requiring parkland or greenspace dedication and they removed the county as the governmental unit able to accept dedication.
The ordinance hasn't been updated for two decades.
