WILDWOOD COUGARS PUT DOWN

Marshfield's Wildwood Zoo has euthanized their cougars, Cleo and Caesar.According to the Marshfield News-Herald, both cougars were 16-years-old and came to the Zoo 1993.
16 is considered old for cougars held in captivity, and both cats have been suffering from a variety of health issues. In the case of Cleo, vets discovered cancerous tumors.
Donations are sought as the zoo staff begins their search for a new pair of cougars.
