Wednesday, February 27th, 2008 -- 2:40 PM
You won't be able to chat on your cell phone while driving in Marshfield due to an ordinance approved by the Marshfield City Council last night. The council voted 7-2 to approve the law, which will go into effect in about six months to allow time to educate the public.
The only exemptions are cellular phones with headsets, emergency calls and ham and CB radios.
The fine will be $75.
Police Chief Joe Stroik said the ordinance will aid enforcement.
