Granton Woman Calls Marshfield Police Department to Report Friend in Possession of Meth

On Friday, November 3rd, a 52-year-old Granton woman called the Marshfield Police Department to report that her friend, a 29-year-old man, also from Granton, was in possession of methamphetamines.
Contact was made with the man and, during contact, he made an abrupt attempt to go back inside of a vehicle for unknown reasons. The man resisted arrest and was then taken into custody. Subsequently, the man was medically cleared and then transported to a mental health facility, after which he was taken to the Marathon County jail.
Charges for several Felony Bail Jumping cases, Possession of Methamphetamines, resisting arrest, and battery to law enforcement referred to Marathon District Attorney's office.
