Suspect in Maine Bowling Alley Massacre has Wisconsin Connection

(Ted Ehlen, WRN) The suspect in the mass shooting in Maine has a connection to Wisconsin.

CNN reports that Clifford Steeves of Massachusetts told the network he knew Robert Card when they served together in the U.S. Army Reserves during the 2000’s and 20-teens. Steeves said one of the places he and Card were stationed was Wisconsin.

Card is the suspect in the massacre at a Lewiston, Maine bowling alley and restaurant that killed at least 18 people and injured 13 others. Officials have said Card is a trained firearms instructor.

Steeves, who said Card was one of the best shooters in his unit, told CNN that he didn’t witness any concerning behavior from Card while he served alongside him.
