Marshfield Police Department Responds to Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Accident

The Marshfield Police Department responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident at the Eagles Club in Marshfield.

According to the Department, on October 4th, around 8:33pm, a vehicle was leaving their parking spot and began driving through the private parking lot at 1104 S. Oak Avenue and struck a pedestrian. The driver said he did not see the pedestrian. After he struck the pedestrian, he looked and saw him lose his balance and fall backwards to the ground. 

The pedestrian suffered a cut to his head and complained of hip pain. He was transported to Marshfield Medical Center by Marshfield Ambulance for treatment of his injuries. There was an event at the Eagle’s Club that had just let out and there were numerous pedestrians and vehicles moving through the parking lot.
