Missie is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Missie

Age: 10-Months-Old

Breed: Bernese Mountain Dog

What a beautiful dog! Missie is the CCHS Pet of the Week! She is a Bernese Mountain Dog who is 10 months old and weighs 56#. She came to CCHS with her big sister Lainee (74#) when their owner's health wasn't doing well. Missie is simply gorgeous.

She has the fluffy black/white/tan coat and foofy tail you would expect for a Bernese Mountain Dog. She is crate trained and has lived with other dogs, but not cats. Missie is friendly and outgoing and enjoys getting lots of attention, especially belly rubs.

Her sister Lainee is a bit shy with new people, but she is just as beautiful as her sister. You can submit your adoption application for Missie, Lainee or any of the pets at CCHS right on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have over 100 animals at CCHS right now, with an amazing selection of dogs, puppies, cats and kittens, so be sure to check them all out. You are also welcome to stop in and visit with our animals during any of our open hours!

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.

We are very much in need of volunteers! You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Missie, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
