Kwik Trip Still Working to Get Systems Back Online

(Mike Leischner, WSAU) Kwik Trip is still working to get their systems back online after a cyber incident that emerged last week.

The company says that at this time there's no reason to believe that any personal or confidential information has been acquired by an unauthorized party, though the La Crosse retailer still hasn't said what caused last week's outage which has left customers without access to the Kwik Rewards app and credit customers unable to make payments on their accounts.

Tuesday's statement also said that many of the behind-the-scenes elements that were impacted by the incident such as communication between stores and headquarters have been restored, but public-facing elements such as the rewards app remain down.
